Páfos

The Paphos region is one of the most picturesque and historical areas of Cyprus, located on the southwestern coast of the island. It is characterized by a rich cultural heritage, including ancient ruins, beautiful beaches and mountainous landscapes.

The region has numerous tourist attractions, such as the Tombs of the Kings (ancient necropolises), the mosaics in Nea Paphos and the remains of the Temple of Aphrodite near the rocks, which according to mythology were the birthplace of the goddess of love. Paphos is also surrounded by vineyards, and the local wine, especially the famous Commandaria wines, enjoys an international reputation.

The region is also known for its diverse landscapes, from the charming beaches and sea waters of Coral Bay, to the mountainous areas of the Troodos Mountains, which offer scenic hiking trails and wonderful views. Traditional Cypriot villages, where you can try local cuisine, and numerous natural attractions make Paphos a popular destination for both tourists and nature lovers.
