History of Lądek Zdrój

The Lądek-Zdrój spa is one of the oldest in Poland, with a history dating back to the 13th century. After World War II, Lądek-Zdrój became part of Poland, and its German name was changed to its current one. During this time, the city attracted many new residents, mainly people resettled from the east.

It is located at an altitude of about 500 m above sea level and offers a rich collection of old and exotic trees and shrubs. It is open from May to October, and in spring, when azaleas and rhododendrons bloom, it looks especially beautiful.
