Joannite Castle in Łagów

The castle of the Joannites is undoubtedly the main tourist attraction of Lagow. Restored, it is now a compact hotel and restaurant complex with an extremely special character. The main nave with a wide staircase leads directly to the glass-roofed Renaissance-Baroque courtyard , which is the soul of the castle. Specially adapted, decorated with abundant green grapevine, it now serves as a restaurant, wedding and banquet hall. Inside the castle are tastefully decorated hotel rooms, a knight's hall used for disputes and business meetings, and a cafe and restaurant. It's also worth climbing to the top of the castle's tower, from where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of Lagow, the lakes and surrounding forests.
