Description
Łękno – a settlement in Poland located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Zaniemyśl municipality.
Since the 19th century, the village was owned by the Potulicki family, for whom architect Stanisław Hebanowski designed a palace. The building was erected after 1857 in an extensive park near a lake. In 1887, the palace was rebuilt in the eclectic style. Until mid-January 1945, the palace and the estate remained under German ownership. The last owner was Kennemann's granddaughter, Juanne, by marriage.
