Center for Historical and Patriotic Education - the heart of events at the Warsaw Citadel

Until late in the evening, the educational space of the Polish Army Museum in the Warsaw Citadel was bustling with life. Visitors had the opportunity to take part in educational and historical workshops entitled "Uniforms and armaments of soldiers through the ages". Meetings with warriors, knights and soldiers of the Polish Army - from the Middle Ages to the present day - attracted many visitors. Presentations of weapons and uniforms gave participants the opportunity to touch history at their fingertips.

The stands with battle and strategic games also enjoyed great interest. Guests not only watched the shows, but also actively participated in the games, learning the rules of classic and modern war games. It was a great opportunity to try your hand as a commander on the board.

The Virtual Tour of the Polish Army Museum allowed us to immerse ourselves in the digital exploration of the “1000 Years of the Glory of the Polish Arms” exhibition, and the special COBI Construction Zone became a paradise for younger visitors who built their own military vehicles from blocks.

Museum of Polish Military Technology - the power of machines in a night scene

The evening opening of the Museum of Polish Military Technology attracted many enthusiasts of heavy equipment. Guests could visit the outdoor exhibition with tanks, transporters and other military equipment. The demonstrations of reenactment groups and the possibility of entering some of the vehicles aroused great interest, as did the photo zone and meetings with curators.

The night atmosphere added an extraordinary climate to the event, and participants could feel like part of the history, the echo of which resounded among the steel hulls and military equipment.

Katyń Museum - a moving lesson in remembrance

That night, the curatorial guided tour of the temporary exhibition "Testimonies of the Crime. Documents Excavated from Mass Graves in Mednoye, Kharkiv and Katyn" enjoyed particular interest. Visitors had the opportunity to see unique archives discovered during exhumations in the 1990s. Many of them were presented to the public for the first time.

The exhibition, entered on the National List of the UNESCO "Memory of the World" Programme, recalled the tragic history of the Katyn Massacre, touching the hearts of visitors.

Additionally, there were screenings of a documentary film and meetings with curators, which deepened reflection on memory and sacrifice.

Armored Weapons Museum in Poznań - military passion in full swing

The Night of Museums 2025 also included the Armored Weapons Museum in Poznań, which opened its gates at 3:30 p.m. Guests had the opportunity to see legendary tanks, combat vehicles and other vehicles that have made history up close. Evening sightseeing in a unique setting and conversations with enthusiasts and specialists created an unforgettable experience.
