One of the oldest minarets in Central Asia located in the Chui Valley. It dates back to the 11th century. The Burana Tower complex has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The archaeological and architectural complex located near the Burana Tower consists of four parts. In the first part there are stone sculptures of people (Balbali). The second part contains petroglyphs, i.e. ancient drawings on the surface of stones. The third part is made of ancient stone tools used in everyday life. The last part are tombstones with Arabic writing.
