Description
Church of St. Barbara - built before the end of the 14th century in the former Jewish district. Initially intended as a synagogue. After the expulsion of the Jews in 1454, it was taken over by the Catholics and dedicated to St. Barbara. The single-nave Gothic temple has a three-bay interior with a cross-ribbed and net vault. Baroque main altar made of polychrome wood from the end of the 17th century. The sacramentarium and the western portal are made of sandstone and date from the 14th century.
