Description
In the municipality of Sułów, in the village of Tworyczów, there is a beautiful historic church under the invocation of Saints Peter and Paul. It was built between 1932 and 1933 and consecrated in 1937. From 10 July 1943 to 19 March 1944 the church was turned into a military storehouse. It is a wooden church, with three naves, two sacristies at the chancel and a turret with little bell tower. The wooden main altar contains an image of the Virgin Mary of Częstochowa and a statue of the Lord Jesus with an open heart. Next to the church is a wooden bell tower, made by local carpenters in 1949.
