Among the beautiful mountains and evergreen forests of the Silesian Beskid, on the southern outskirts of Poland, right on the border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, lie three highland villages: Istebna, Jaworzynka and Koniaków. A small evangelical parish is located in these villages. The church of this parish, a beautiful work of architect Tadeusz Michejda, is located at the exit of the village of Istebna, on Kurzyszowski, on the road leading from Istebna to Koniaków.
