The brick, simple temple, the construction of which began in 1947 and was completed in 1950, hides in its interior interesting furnishings, which are mostly the work of local artists. The main altar, made by poet and sculptor from Mlaskawka Jozef Bock, features an oil painting by Jan Wallach, which shows the patron saints of the parish established here in 1958 amid grazing sheep against the backdrop of the Beskydy mountain landscape. In the presbytery is a wooden, additional post-conciliar altar - richly carved by well-known folk artist Jan Bojka. In the bas-reliefs made here he depicted two biblical scenes, namely the Sacrifice of Abraham and the Last Supper.
While in the church, we will also see a wooden altar dedicated to the Mother of God, a richly decorated pulpit and a sculpture of St. Anthony, all chiseled by Jozef Bock.
Here we will also discover more works by Jan Walach - painted Stations of the Cross, paintings of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a carved crucifix, as well as bas-reliefs by his daughter Barbara Walach: Christmas and Resurrection of Christ.
In 1986 the statue of their patroness and intercessor St. Barbara was founded by miners and made by the aforementioned prominent folk sculptor from Jaworzynka, Jan Bojko.
In the temple you can honor the grace-famous relics of St. John Paul II.
In 2018, not far from the house of God, a monument was unveiled to mark the 100th anniversary of Poland's independence , it has the form of a huge stone with a commemorative plaque embedded in it .
